Your small cap stocks market wrap
Ivo is the person whom we all secretly aspire to be. Who really wants to work? Wouldn’t you rather have a private income to support your rather fabulous life? That's what Ivo is doing in the Small cap market. Earning money! and having some fun!
I’m $2,000 up – alright, $1,900 – if you include brokerage. I’m happy, but something’s missing.
The Tassal salmon is still tasting rather good, I can even see myself eating KFC one day at a Collins Food franchisee (as long as I’m incognito), and the Nick Scali sofa is under me as I write.
But those blasted financial planners at Snowball! Sorry, I mean, SFG, as they’re now known. I’ve slippid back here, but I’m willing to hold on for now, as my second cousin is a financial planner, and he tells me that it’s in the firing line to be taken over. That’s the only way to get something from this industry, and I’m in it for the “long-term” (on the proviso that they make me money).
No, what I think is missing is sex appeal.
I need something that’s going to the moon (or possibly explodes before it gets there). I’m not in the business of waiting for life to happen. Then again, I’m not in any business, which is why I need these Small Caps to outgrow their name.
Down to it then!
I’m going to pump $10,000 into eServGlobal (ESV) because I remember overhearing complaints about how much it costs for the foreign diaspora to send money back to their families in places like Africa and India through Western Union. Apparently people can now use eServGlobal to do the same thing with their cell phones! Who would have thought?
Because I don’t like being politically correct, I also like the sound of fracking. Being a bit of a star gazer, I think I’ll put $10,000 into Antares Energy (AZZ).
Yours ever,
Ivo
